Get Your Prom On♡

Its that time of year to get your glam on because Prom is just around the corner! For the class of 2020, this is one of the many exciting moments in all your high school career; remember you’re so close to graduation, all your class mates have a future outside of high school and that is why it’s super important to make these memories last and might as well make a good one to remember.

My baby sister is finally growing into adulthood, this mini blog is for her. As any big sister would, I really wanted to take action with the prom preparations to make this extra special for her. So starting off! I treated her out to get her nails done a few minutes away from home, called Spectrum Nails located in Elk Grove. The nail artist did a phenomenal job and definitely made it prom ready. She did a nude pink base with black and gold accents, leaving her index finger with a different pattern which added a glam touch to the whole set, make sure to have a picture of the type of design you want; saves time!

Her dress, after searching day and night on the web or window dress shopping we finally said yes to the dress :) Gorgeous is the word to describe it, and the best part? It was less than $200, definitely a steal! Now, gowns are extremely long as it is so we didn’t have to worry too much on the heels, just something that’d balance her right from falling flat on her face. Makeup was easy, my sister did it herself and she did amazing, saved a buck or two! And finally, the hair. She decided to go with a natural wave look with a floral pin on the side of her hair, super cute and bouncy. After all the preparations, she was at last ready to get her prom on. The night was a full on success, definitely one to remember.
