I always feel honored to be a part of someone's 21st birthday celebration.. I mean it's a big deal! The big 21 needs to be treated with great pizzazz and love. Fear not readers, I have tips and guides on how to make your own basket for your loved ones without spending a fortune!

Items Used:

- Wooden Basket; for a classy look, use a light wooden basket to make it look more neat. I used white to match the tone of my basket

- Wine or Alcohol; wine is preferred

- Glass Tea Pot

- Wine Glass

- Victoria Secret Fragrance

- Bath Salts/Bubble Bath Kit

- Artificial Flowers

- Excelsior Wool; I crumpled paper and placed in the bottom of the basket then added the wool to make the items stick out more, making an appealing look

- Twine, Tag, and Cellophane bag big enough to fit/wrap basket

Price Ranges between items purchased each is approximately $2-20

Know Your Person: TIP#1

It will be much harder if you don't know the birthday gal so make sure if you are making a personal basket, it needs to fit the person with their interests; that'll only add a rich intimate display and will really make your basket stand out. For this basket I bought a wine glass with little gold cactus's because she's a plant lover and it was way too cute to not add in!

Create a Theme: TIP#2

This basket idea works best with a color scheme! I used a rustic white basket and added pink accents all around with pink artificial flowers I sorted last minute. The littlest things tie the basket together so well.

Last but Not Least the Alcoholsss: TIP#3

Make sure to include an alcoholic beverage!! If you yourself are under the age of 21 please please get someone who can buy the drink for you, super important! Tip #4: If you're going for an elegant cute look I definitely advise to get wine. Something to start off light first before they go nuts and abuse their driver's license.. a nice light pink wine should do the trick or go with the theme you choose, I used a pink rose but even dark red wine adds a beautiful touch.
